Most people aren’t even aware of how much they constantly think all the time.

Thinking is great but stay creative with it, don't limit it or immediately judge your thoughts. If you're stuck get up and walk around, walk the stairs or if you can, walk outside for 5 minutes. Changing your perspective changes your thinking. Incorporate humor. Take breaks and change subjects. Your brain will work on the problem in the background. Ask a coworker a related question. They may not have the answer but even "I don't know" is an answer. Just knowing that can spark new ideas. Learn what works best for you.
