Football won tonight. England have a dream squad but have been awful this tournament but got by on fortunate draws, dodgy pens, penalty shoot-out wins & last minute equalisers. Southgate has ridden his luck in this job so much. Spain have been miles the best footballing nation this tournament.

Spain was so much better today that it was a flattering 2-1 defeat for England, numbers could have been much larger. Well deserved victory for Spain and ligit winners of the European Championship. They play the most attractive football of all teams. England has been lucky to be on the easier side of the draw for the play offs. I do believe that teams like Germany, France and Portugal would have come on top of England. Bellingham showed a bit today, but has been misserable most games. I think his star status has gone to his head.

Congrats Spain, undefeated and a harder path to the final, unlike England who rode there luck the whole competition, easier group and free ticket to the knockout stage, got lucky v Slovakia and Switzerland. A dodgy pen call v Holland that went there way but again found out in the final, long ball upto Kane and try hit on break, as if Kane's going to outrun the Spanish defence 😂
A lucky equaliser that deflects off Spain player who tried to block a ball and does a ballerina twirl, instead of just charging at the England player or just standing tall and block it like a man!

Spain couldve easily won that 4-1. England did little. Spain the deserved winners!
