My grandfather passed away last year and... in short, my sisters and I planned a very special surprise for our aunt and mother - a precious thing for each of them to remember him by. We even put together a video for it. We played this song as they opened their gifts, and as they cried, we cried with them. This song has meant so much to me ever since.

You music is so touching. Thank you. Thank you for deciding to share your talent, your ideas, and part of yourself with the world. I get emotional every time I hear this song. We miss him terribly.

Its so heart wrenching, but simultaneously calming. The perfect combination for what we feel when we see photos of our grandad. Thank you.

Came to see Sufjan at Bass in Austin. As I entered the hall, dark clouds surrounded us.
You opened and BLEW MY MIND....After your set I went outside to try and comprehend what I had just experienced and the clouds had parted, replaced by A massive Rainbow.
It seemed as if you, MOSES, had parted the Darkness...
