At this youth group I went to with my brothers, the pastor described it as waiting in line. When on the wide road, it goes a lot quicker because there is more space and you’re thinking “oh yea I’m gonna get to this amazing space and I’m going be there before anyone else” but in reality, no, you’re not. Those who choose the wide road only choose it because they saw the narrow road filled with people and said “aw heck no, that lines too filled, I’m going to be there forever, imma go down this road, they’re going the same way anyway” and it opened my eyes. Following Jesus isn’t easy like the wide road, it’s a patient wait to see where you are going next, following the leader at the front of the line, Jesus

This is hinted at in Ezekiel 3:18 as well: _"When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die, ’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand."_

This more than implies that ignorance cannot be used as an excuse.
