The Mystical Qabalah is a must read for those studying magick & the occult. Why is it so popular? In this quick review, I give you a quick synopsis, a couple of example blurbs from the book, and I explain what’s great and what’s not so great about this occult classic.

The author, Dion Fortune, is one of my favorite authors. Not everyone likes her writing style though. I’ll tell you more in the video.

Nice review, I learned so much from this book and want to explore more of the correlations with other religions and symbolism, as well as doing work on the paths.

I was reading somewhere that the difference between the hermetic path and the mystical path was that one gives you direct but fleeting glimpses of the divine while the other requires mastering the intellect and emotions for more lasting transformation.

I think bringing aspects of oneself into harmony does sound much better as a long term plan than just doing drugs.

Lol, I knoe I have commented a few times on this, but brandy I have to thank you for the review. I am reading it now and it's perfect... I have studied the tree for a few years now and this fills in blanks where the blinds keep things from your understanding. Things that are so intuitive that you already know, but turns them into concrete conception. She (dion fortune) put her name on the line to give people knowledge. Thank you!

Thank you very Brandy, this is a clear and honest review. I started reading The Mystical Qabalah over a year ago when I was a total newbie. TBH it all went over my head, it was like wading through treacle. I have been familiarising myself with the Tre of Life the past week or 2 and already getting my head around concepts that used to totally bewilder me, so time to dig Dion out again soon. I am just about finished Ted Andrews book Simplified Qabala Magic, which is a much easier read for those just starting out. 💖🙏🧚‍

Brandy, when you say meditate on a specific septhiroth, do you need to be really familiar with its attributes first, or do you build up the understanding “through” meditation.
