My cousin finds that sometimes it's the food coloring that will mess up the texture of the fondant he uses when catering. I eat it regardless 🤣, but there are some colors that make it feel a bit differently than normal.

we have that problem in the bakery all the time. you either played with it for too long or its hot where youre woking so the fondant softened too much. just add more powdered sugar to it or chill it if u have time :)
