Yujin is actually insane because she’s so popular in many different fields: in the idol field, in the advertisement field and the variety field as well. She’ll just keep on growing even more popular and will become a household name in Korea…also imagine if she starts branching into acting 👀

My unpopular opinion is that I think people don't really know what being an it girl really means. It's not just about popularity, it's also about being an influence, creating the trends AND the "it" vibe that honestly 99% of people you guys call it girl don't really posses.

Gfriend Individually weren’t good dancers except Sinb(and Yuju but she didn’t have as much chance to show it since she’s main vocal) but the draw for them wasn’t them being dancing gods it was their synchronization and memorization skills and of course the concept. It’s why they were really popular for their blindfolded dances and 2x speed dances.

Have to disagree with the yg opinion i understand about the "yg charisma", "yg swag" etc etc but what they are doing right now is using same song structures, same instrumentals, same kshmr samples, slapping same lyrics to every of their artist's song specially theirs newer artists, having a particular style for a company isn't wrong but if all of their group's songs are blending into each other then that leaves people frowning and questioning the laziness of the producers, look at Winner & Ikon they debuted one after another but still had somewhat different sound while maintaining the yg swag but look at their latest groups literally interchangeable songs

among all the potential 4th gen it girls, yujin is most likely the only one who is extremely popular in many different departments (idol, fashion, CFs, variety) unlike most idols who maybe are super popular in a certain field but not in others

I think yujin is the most promoted member and same level as karina in korea for popularity and variety show.
She have most cfs among other female idols but just international fans especially non fans dont care much about ive in general ..they prefer check only their comeback but no their solo schedules for each members and ive variety show.

The fact Wonyoung is least promoted member in 2023, i was surprised she get her first solo schedules in variety show after 2 years.She get viral in Variety show for witty personality we need more wonyoung in own show or variety show gigs.

Tbh I have never seen anyone putting GFRIEND's dancing on a pedestal. I've only seen people mentioning their synchronization over and over again. (and well deserved).

For me, i never really loved the yg sound. Not for me. But i don't think that anyone can deny that there is a difference between copy pasting and keeping the same vibe. And sometimes, all yg be doing is copy pasting.

I have to agree with the last opinion because even if a song’s achievements don’t determine its quality, it’s understandable to sometimes judge songs by how well they’re doing. If a song is very popular there has to be a reason as to why it’s resonating with people more compared to other songs.

It’s so awkward when groups that target the western market end up having no english speakers, i would understand if they were groups that are not aiming for the west, but if i had to learn english for my job, then idols should also learn it to do their job.
