Is Windwaker Coming To Switch?

We all know how much Nintendo loves to double dip by re-releasing titles to a new system in hopes for another chance of success, kind of how most WiiU titles have made it to Switch like Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, Super Mario 3D World and of course Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just to name a few.

The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker initially was released for the GameCube in March 2003 and was mostly met with backlash due to the drastic change in art style. Oddly enough over the course of time that viewpoint has completely reversed with Windwaker being one of the most fondly remembered entires in the series, largely in part to the art style that has aged like a fine potion.

Ive noticed wind waker got a TON of love in Totk. The lobster shirt, the windwaker boomerang, the windwaker shield, coldera is the frozen version of moldera (a wind waker boss), plus its music is a badass version of dragonroost island

Wind water is such good game I remember playing in on my Wii U, I got it free by using a code and loved every second of it.

This is literally my top pick for a port to switch and has been since the switch released. I don’t care if I have to buy it again so long as I don’t have to play it on a Wii U. I get that there’s a couple mechanics that would need to be worked out to port it but it still feels long overdue. This game is criminally underrated and has some of the most memorable music.

Wind waker is one of my favorite Zelda games, I never got to play it myself but would watch people play it all the time. I would LOVE if this came in the switch
