I am 55 now and have followed U2 since dancing like a mad man along with all my mates to the live version of I Will Follow at discos in my local pub back in 1981. Thank you Larry for forming such an iconic and ageless band.

The Drum beat on Sunday Bloody Sunday was the first time a drum beat meant something to me..it sounded like a semi automatic rifle being fired. I was raised in England in the 70s...all my family were Irish..so that makes me a plastic paddy i guess. This song sums up that time perfectly, the troubles n violence..Bombs..but ultimately, resolution and peace..Gawd bless ya Larry.

Larry is so humble. He says it best himself, he may not be the best, but he's DIFFERENT. I think that makes all the difference. Of course he's not the best drummer, but he's one of the most unique and recognizable and I think that's even more important as a musician. Find your own voice, the Van Halens, the John Bonhams, the Fleas, they are already taken. Be yourself. Congrats Larry, you are the backbone of probably the greatest live band to ever live and ironically, still going as strong as ever. I cherish their longevity as bandmates and I think they do too.

I am 65. If it weren't for my Younger brothers in their '50's never would've been turned on to them! Love them all. Larry when you visited Elvis mansion. You were so blessed. Rattle & Hum my fav. Knew awoman from Clayton, Eng. for 10 yrs. before going to Jesus. Precious like all of these bro.'s Larry I always felt the backbone, but let's not start a wee skirmish! All so gifted! God bless to all.

Larry's the reason I play the drums, I come from the same non expertise place, technically I'm not great but many people love how I play, I owe it all to Larry Mullen Jr.

I like when Larry and Adam get to talk, Bono hogs the mic. LOL I'm a musician, I never met my musical soul brothers like they have and a few other great bands have. It's inspiring when it happens and the fact they are still together makes it more so. Larry and the men play from the heart and that's what it's all about anyhow.
