Donnie Parkinson started AVCO in 2007. The Company had great success until his passing in 2014. Current owner, Heath Hicks came to AVCO to ensure the success of the company continued. Before his passing, Donnie said, “I want someone that can keep the company open”. Not long after that Heath purchased the company from widowed wife, Sharon Parkinson. The following 12 months after Heath bought the company, it grew 400% and the following year grew 300%! The team is now up to 30+ members in the office 70+ members in the field. The team continues to strive to become the leaders in the industry.

Very interesting to see your side of this interview. Avco is the host of all ridicule in our area. Avco has had to shut down their office in our town due to owner allowing supplier to mark up materials in order to steal from his salesmen and feed his own pocketbook. That is only the tip of the iceberg from all the backlash I've heard... might be time to reexamine

Hi Dmitry! I have been in Roofing Sales for a bit and I've watched and internalized a tremendous amount of your videos! There is Great admiration as well as appreciation from me to the fact that you are raising the standards for the construction industry. I am thinking about moving to Texas in the next year or so and wanted to research about 4-8 Roofing companies in Texas where there is integrity and longevity for a career. This guy seems pretty cool. I think if you don't try and get roofs where there's no legit storm damage you waste less time and can make up the difference on actually damaged roofs. That of course requires sales guys that know their stuff not randos looking for another sales job pointing at blisters instead of hail.
