Ego is about quantity over quality. Never use non-white cauldrons with ego (except with regen scrap) because you're just giving up 2-4 potential pieces of ego food. Also don't bother scrapping anything that isn't actively being detrimental to you unless you're immediately going to turn it into other items with printers, it's all effectively already scrap for the ego.

I actually really like egocentrism. My favorite run since the patch ended up with over 200 of them (entire galaxy swirling around the character) which I then turned into ~160 pearls and 58 irradiant pearls - it was amazing.

Watching the turret walk to ego mythrix was like watching a dog walk into rush hour trafic

my best run was literally 6 and a half hours. bought ego three times, converted into pearls twice. over 100 standard pearls, and THIRTY TWO RADIANT. ended up with more than 30 benthic blooms as well. ended up killing the run just because there was no end in sight. that's just what happens when you have LITERALLY 50k+ hp/shield with a max of 100k+ with fully stacked barrier from aegis. healing for more than 150k/s, and not even bosses can approach without instant death due to having... basically every red in the game always stacked well over ten due to benthic. ego literally could not stuff itself fast enough to damage the build


anything that came within ego range started a chain reaction that killed everything else out to about 5x ego range. ego, shrimp, frost relic, pocket rocket, knives and nukahauntus. aegis, wungus, rejuv racks, and well over 12 corpsebloom. the 150k/s healing was just because 50+ wungus and 10+ corpsebloom means if i sprint AT ALL, ima heal for 150k/s for the foreseeable future. eventually i had 14 shifts and my commando could cosplay Maxim from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (if you know what i mean you know what i mean). i also ended up with 12 charges of ultimate on global cooldown, so if i ACTUALLY WANTED TO DO ANYTHING MYSELF i could literally just spam R and forget i have a primary.

I play RoR2 like once in a while with my bro and sometimes alone, haven't touched the game for months now. But I'm always watching this dude lol, content is just amazing even for people that don't play the game or don't play as often. He keeps you updated and also has some very fun playthroughs with commentary, not to mention the edits that are in another level. Really a top notch content creator Woolie, hope you keep doing it.

I like the darkening effect, but slightly reduce it when you're just showing items and not giving a detailed description of them (like your description of ego) or putting particular attention to some descriptions (eclipse modifier at 3:55)
