While all the Hook fangirls are crying over their precious little guy-liner, I'm questioning why Hook didn't have the voice of the Dark One in his head in Storybrooke, since it doesn't leave until you embrace the darkness (or in Emma's case, until you make Excalibur whole again)? Clearly he didn't have the voice after returning from Camelot to Storybrooke to guide him to darkness! I hope this show explains it!

I don't get this - I thought the Dark Guide was the spirit of Darkness attached to the Dagger and took the form of one of the previous Dark Ones. But Hook's Guide didn't come from the Dagger, it came from the sword and since it was Merlin's power, it should be the Light Guide and not the Dark Guide. So why is Evil Rumple his advisor?

I am seriously getting tired of Hook and Rumple's inability to let their past go. Particularly Hook who hasn't had the excuse of a dark curse as well as the loss of a child warping his judgement and destroying his soul for centuries. Until now, I suppose. And that's why he decides now is a good time to rehash everything... *sigh*

Well, "when you see the future, there is irony everywhere" -Rumplestiltskin ("The Miller's Daughter", Season 2, Episode 16).

Killian Jones spent 300 years battling the Dark One and trying to take vengeance for his lost love, but NOW, due to his True Love, he IS THE DARK ONE. I cannot think of such an ironic situation.

I loved how Rumplestiltskin greeted Dark!Hook with that classic style of his. And Killian is absolutely bewildered and nearly confused in trying to resist the Darkness, but at the same time, that lust, anger, and vengeance from hundreds of years back is going to resurface.

Sadly, as he warned Emma last episode, he is weak. Emma Swan resisted the Darkness for weeks, but now, he's about to give into it because of a pathetic grudge he cannot get over.

I also love how he's encased in Darkness. All that excess clothing is similar to a cocoon, for he is not ready yet to fully embrace the Darkness but he shall be soon enough in Storybrooke, about 3-4 weeks later.

Sunday cannot get here already! I'm so excited for this episode :)

Despite how Killian's love for Emma has changed him, his hatred for the "crocodile" always brings out the worst in him. So seeing Rumple in his dark one form only fuels the fire.
