oronto police are investigating allegations of abuse against former Q host Jian Ghomeshi by multiple women.

Canada’s foremost radio star has weathered a storm of criticism since he was fired from the CBC and sued his ex-employer for $55-million. Meanwhile, the broadcaster has hired an outside investigator to probe the allegations against Mr. Ghomeshi.

Lights dumped him as her manager the next day.  Anyone who supported him initially is now deeply embarrassed and trying to distance themselves as quickly as possible.

There may be at least 22 women who were abused, and they all may be wrong, but it's wrong to assume that anyone is innocent when so much evidence has not been weighed properly.  Nobody should be assuming anything at all.  The first job is to sort out all the evidence, then start making conclusions.

Wow the guy isnt even attractive, he certainly thinks he is because so many people have really bad taste, same with the blonde here she seems to think he is just too hot to abuse so many women, who I must say have been so brave and deserve respect for exposing this Jian guy. Even his name is so pretentious. If this blonde has any brains and actually thought of him as a "friend" she would try to get the guy serious help. For a guy like Jian or any celebrity having concent rough sex with women there is a very thin line because there is a lot of money in between. At first the girl might say she likes it, but after a while she might simply twist her version on saying that it was physical abuse. It is a very delicate situation this kind of sex cuz it might be concent at first, but then it might be interpreted simply as physical abuse. So this smells fishy to me.

I do not like Jian Gomeshi - he is too something 'slick' for me although I am not certain about what side to take here - women often complain about lots of things guys do to them even if they sort of asked for it  - I knew people who went through all sorts of nonsense with institutions

Todd, Ana, friends; no, let's not pass judgment and have some understanding that Jian is a prominent left-leaning talk show host which broadcasts to millions across North America. The CBC has become increasingly placed under scrutiny by the conservative community as a result of it's left-leaning agenda and Jian, in my opinion is just a target. Smear campaigns like this are become more common, targeting high-profile Canadians and Americas alike.

No matter what, spending the first half-minute mispronouncing a person's name and then go into a Michael Jackson song as what (?) a kind of bad taste pun, and then finally get into the case at around 45 seconds. Uh-hm. A complete distraction. WIthout actual discussion of substance. And no laughs. I cancel my non-existent subscription.
