I got this KK in Universal's IoA after riding the attraction june of this year. I had to get it as i don't wanna miss the opportunity on just buying it on the spot instead of ordering it online. To me it was a good experience as i remembered my uncle getting me a souvenir from the old Kongfrontation gift shop back in 2000. Getting kong at Universal is like a tradition. :D

Love this guy- I like how they included the sculpt of which I assume is the 1933 head- a part of me wishes it was closer scaled to their Godzillas, but I do like how this Kong is big and chunky.

They really do send you the best versions of each figure. I watched the ghostface review and my ghostface’s legs are warped, and my Kong’s paint is just one big black while yours has browns and reds

This may very well be the best King Kong figure that NECA has crafted so far. I really like both head sculpts, especially the one with the angry facial expression. The fur has been nicely sculpted, painted and detailed. As great as the figure is, it would've been nice if it had been included with some more accessories, specifically an Empire State Building, which would've suited King Kong perfectly. There is a great amount of articulation as well. This is a solid figure release on the part of NECA. Otherwise, thanks again Spot. I really appreciate it. Keep it up!

This was due to licensing which is why they didn't add accessories from the original movie. NECA said this figure was their version from that movie but not an exact copy of it.

This King Kong figure could be in my top five for 2020. Really well done. I prefer the not so wide mouth sculpt. Would love a black and white version.

What a great Kong figure. He is an ape though, not a monkey. I agree that an Anne Darrow figure would have been an awesome addition with this Kong.
