The only thing India will gain after unification is just Population and unstability that's it. The closest we can get to Akhand bharat is South Asian Union similar to European union any further pushing of invasion by india to make akhand bharat will result to what had happened with germany during ww2. so it is much viable to get better with the land we have rather than hoping to increase land size. Getting into historical sentiments sound good but ain't possible.

I think during independence time it was possible to make Akhand Bharat. But in today’s generation I can’t even imagine of it the kind of destruction they does on Hindu temples, people and even on other religious communities would still continued to happen in several parts of India as well. Many radicalised Muslim politician majorly belonging to several states like Kashmir, UP, Kerala, Telegana could have supported them from behind.
