I know this is a long shot but when you look at 0:47 the two marks on the tree look like the sun and moon! I know the concept wasn’t invented by kishi yet at this point but when you look at the end of the series how naruto and sasuke both inherit the sun and moon seal from the sage and 6 paths that would be crazy if this was foreshadowing especially when we first hear about the sage of the 6th paths we as the audience first hear of his existence from jiraiya! I know I’m really reaching here but it’s cool to think about!

The Rasengan though, if used like the Hokuto no shinken, would be a dangerous Jutsu, way more than the Chidori. All the user had to do is to touch the opponent's head with his palm, then go and use up to 2nd stage of the Rasengan, to meddle with the opponent's chakra flow and the things inside his head, and we'll get a brain smoothie.

In fact, a Hyuuga and his Juuken would be a perfect fit for this Jutsu, and he doesn't even need to create a Uzuki Rasengan or Rasenshuriken.

The hardest jutsu he had to learn, yet the strongest jutsu he mastered, even surprising the 4th. It's too bad in Boruto it feels like a jutsu everyone has access to. :/

I watched this thinking the rasengan was always 2 handed and Naruto was just special needing 3 hands (just saw Konohamaru one-handed rasengan in Boruto). Nope, was always one-handed.

Yea but by the time Naruto shippuden happened, the Rasengan was basically useless cause every enemy Naruto faced brushed it off like nothing. Sasuke was the one who really made Chidori into its true power
