hmm. you would still need to take the algebraic sum of the two magnetic fields created by the two wires. so first find the magnitude of both fields and then the direction. If they point in the same direction at the point of interest, then add them. If they point in the opposite direction, subtract them. hope that helps.

So if the currents were both going UP the wire (in the same direction), the equation for the total magentic field would be B1-B2 ??
