Kamala Harris takes oath of office, sworn in as Vice-President of the United States

Four years after becoming the second Black senator and first South Asian-American senator in history, Kamala Harris was sworn in as the 49th Vice-President of the United States on Wednesday at Capitol Hill, breaking another glass ceiling in America.

Harris is the first Black, South Asian-American, Indian-American and female vice-president in U.S. history. She served as the junior senator from California since 2017 and ran for president in the 2020 Democratic primaries, though eventually dropped out citing a shortage of funds and endorsed Joe Biden. She was announced as Biden’s running mate in August 2020.

She also served as attorney general of California prior to serving in the Senate.

Now it's 4 months later and crime is at an all time high, shootings are on the rise, gas prices are on the climb, food prices are on the climb, many small business are closed for good, looting is still going on, stores like Walgreens and others are moving out of San Francisco and other towns do to crime on the rise, 1st time in my life time parts of states are trying to disown their own state and join the state next to them to get under better leadership, unemployment on the rise YET there are help wanted signs EVERYWHERE, but this administration is just giving hand outs so it's easier to stay at home and collect a check instead of going to work like a good citizen, mass moving out of New York, , Washington state, Oregon, etc.. due to crime, And my list goes on.
