In March 2020, Wayfair was struggling. The online furniture retailer’s stock had plummeted to $21 a share as the company faced falling profits and high operating expenses. Covid-19 changed all that. Since most of the U.S. entered lockdown mode, almost all of Wayfair’s brick and mortar competitors shut their doors leaving Wayfair as essentially the only game in town for home furnishings. But as the country slowly re-opens will Wayfair’s underlying issues return to the surface or will new trends, like working from home, save the brand?

I ordered from wayfair half of my houses furniture and I couldn't believe they'd ship it free! That's what kept me ordering. Nothing was damaged. My couch however fell apart and they sent me a new one no questions!

I needed a new convertible sofa in a studio apartment in Coney Island. I ordered it from Wayfair, it even came with the 2 tools I needed assemble it, BEFORE the saga with the virus started.

I’ve been asked to give details so here they are. From Wayfair I purchased the Erinn 67” loveseat by Zipcode Design and it fits perfect in my space. Plus very comfy to sit on for long periods. All you have to do to assemble it is screw in the legs and slide the back section into the metal brackets on the seat part. It’s almost always out of stock so I’d advise clicking on the “In Stock Alert”. I got the blue one. Also purchased the Atka Sled coffee table. It’s clear acrylic. Again it’s great for small spaces. It’s out of stock right now so sign up for the “In Stock Alert”. After three months there are no scratches on it.
