Ky William, Jeff Sorkowitz - Anthem (Original Mix)

Ky William brings the heat for August as he teams up with close friend, Jeff Sorkowitz, and together they drop the dirty low slung growler, 'Anthem' on William's Andhera imprint.

This is the second time this year the pair have collaborated this year, with the first one being released on Stefano Noferini's Deeperfect, and between them they have released on other prestigious labels such as Techne, Origins, Hedzup, Material, and their own imprints, Sorkowitz's Short Circuit and William's Andhera. They have had plays on their previous releases from artists like Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Dennis Ferrer, Vintage Culture, CID, Josh Butler, and many more. The Brooklyn based pair also have been riding on a crest of a wave with their gig schedule this summer coming in at the best venues in NYC such as Brooklyn Mirage, Avant Gardner, Elsewhere, Somewhere Nowhere and with them also taking in dates in LA, Vegas and Denver.

For the pair's latest outing together, they drop a bass heavy gnarler in the form of 'Anthem'. With tripped out percussion to get you locked in from the off, the punchy beats get you moving quickly The bass, which twists and winds around the subs like a predator stalking its prey, gives a filthy dirty feel to the track and gives it strength, drive and unique identity which is all polished off with some well worked and placed hip hop samples to give this dark and broody anthem its final snarl.
