Before everyone hops on my shit I’m saying only what makes most sense not saying this should or shouldn’t happen but it makes sense to re release the rare and og stuff even if they added compensation for original owners slowly but surely epic has been shying away from the whole valuable cosmetics ( they literally just released a ps5 with cosmetics not exclusive to it, have made new battle passes non exclusive to the season and have been trying to re release many rare skins and have done so) and the market for accounts with those items won’t matter much anymore since even normal people care less and less about rarity they just want the cosmetic and yes there will still be very many upset people but at the same time in a month or 2 most people won’t really care at all

personally i think it would be a loss not to bring back og battle passes for people who weren't around at that time or for people who lost their accounts to hackers or false bans. even to bring og stuff into the store would be a win in my books we saw it with shredder, there was a mini BP and then later he came into the store im not upset that people could buy it, i paid less for the mini BP. so bringing the items back would be better for all involved. the only people it would really matter to are the try hards and the people who like bragging about their OG times in the game.

Solution to the whole OG thing: just give 'em back the money they spent for those BP's at the time. People don't feel so bad when they have money in their pocket.
And let's be honest... Epic can afford it. If they can pay skippity toilet map creators for THAT load of BS, they can do this for the people who helped put their game on the map.
And no, I'm not one of them as I started in C2S3 so don't even start.
