There's a mistake in the video.
f(8) = -4
So in vertex form it should be minus 4 at the end instead of plus 4.
And the vertex is (8, -4)

Everything else and all the explanations are still right.

For those confused about 4 or -4 in f(8) = (8 - 10) (8 - 6)... yes, he corrected it (should be minus 4) down in the comments. This way hopefully, you don't have to scoll down too far! :) Great job... and thank you!

when you do f(8) and simplify, how is -2•2 positive 4? Shouldn’t it be -4?

The part where u calculate the Aos..will have to be always add then divide it to 2?

So, does that mean that the vertex for y=-2(x+6)^2+288 would be (-6, -288)? Also when writing the vertex for any question, do you change the signs for both the numbers cuz in some of your videos I watched, you only changed one of the numbers signs.
