My family and I have lived at Mt. Bosavi for much of the past twenty years. My kids had a silky cuscus as a pet about 15 yrs ago. A truly amazing place, the people, the animals, the jungle, waterfalls, and so much more. Come and visit sometime.

This clip actually got me interested in keeping rats. Have had them as pets now a good 9 years.. They really are fantastic animals

I want one! From my personal experience rats are much more friendly than other rodents. I've never had a rat bite me, they are quite happy to interact with people.

Rats only bite out of fear and this one wasn't acting afraid at all. I'm sure if it was behaving threateningly they wouldn't have been petting it and stuff. It looked happy to see them. So cute.

I want one! That is the coolest, surfer dude, chilled out, scooby sized rodent ever! It also proves that there must be weed laced brownies somewhere in the lost land because he really doesn't seem worried about being surrounded by MUCH larger animals! no fight or flight, just wake and bake...

THESE rats are thee cutest rats I've ever so damn adorable!!! i would pay big bucks for one of those. that thing was in the WILD & it was that docile. can you imagine what a sweetheart they would be truly tamed? unbelievable. hopefully they stay protected. ima save up & get one lol

Little BIG thing is cute, I remember the rest of the clip, he says the rat is cool because it has never learned to fear humans.
