My Notes/Conclusions:

1) Pre-lecture: Grab all of the main concepts/keywords from all upcoming lectures and link them in a way that makes sense to you. Go to lectures, get the information, and bring it back to the diagram. Critically assess whether your original relationships still makes sense or if they still have utility.

2) Use concepts

3) Learn the concepts without the numbers. Don't plug and play unless the concept exists within your knowledge domain and you know for certain what the adjacent concepts are. "Understand the maths in words". In general, think like the producer.

Organizing Notes for Productivity: In this YouTube transcript, the speaker discusses the importance of organizing notes for students to enhance productivity. The speaker suggests creating a single canvas for each topic, such as a week's worth of lectures, and building upon it. They recommend using a non-linear note-taking method to effectively build and annotate on top of the notes. The speaker also emphasizes the significance of conceptual understanding in math, suggesting that students focus on understanding concepts first before delving into equations. They highlight the value of knowing the purpose and application of math concepts. For essay writing, the speaker advises students to think like the author or director, understanding the themes and motivations behind their work. They suggest researching the author or director's background to gain a deeper understanding. The speaker also mentions the importance of good writing skills and practicing with past exam questions. In terms of making it easier for students, the speaker suggests that teachers and professors provide formula or cheat sheets during assessments, allowing students to focus more on conceptual understanding. They also recommend providing guidance and feedback on writing skills to help students improve.

Literature & film analysis often doesn't asks about authorial intent. The focus is on the text itself and what the text does, which can exceed what the author intended.

I like how he explained things that I've thought before. It was just pure self realisation. During high-school, I'd ask myself how is the math equation like this, or some sort. I definitely used the same method for economics and basics accounting. Thank you!

I like the last part when you were explain the way you summarize or note-taking regarding the book or movie, i think it is going to be helpful especially when summarizing the main features of a book to yourself and not only in the exam or essay prospective.
excited to see the third part

excited to join your course in the next enrolment period! having watched pretty much every video you published on here, i was overwhelmed at first (cause it's so different to what i've been told to do or developed myself as study methods) but ready to shift perspectives and be more efficient ^^

during math class in high school i saw visual patterns and found the answer that way. But because i didnt get high grades before and all of a sudden with a very complex subject i wrote down the answer too fast. And the mathteacher didnt believe i didnt cheat . So he asked me how i did it. There were 2 days of doing it that he explained before and i could not come up with those explaitions so he asked me in front of the whole clas: how did you cheat (because the person next to me didnt have the answer). So i hesitated but then try to tell him how i did it. I saw a beautifull magical landscape of pattern of hexagons that somehow morfed into something and then I had my answer . he first laughed, then i drew it and eventually he believed me. But i was so petrified by beeing called out in class i never dared to think that way in patterns and images ever again and tried to follow his method. And i forgot how to do it because i never used that method ever again. I blocked it and tried to do what the class did. I never saw those patterns again in my mind after the scolding. I just wish this other way of thinking wasnt so rediculized so kids that are naturally gifted arent bullied out of the gift. But if people have books or info on how to see math without numbers or words but in patterns and relations and imaging: any tips on how to rekindle this way of thinking: please tell me in a reaction.

Finally I found the video I was searching for. I love watching these videos and want to apply many of the techniques but I felt that many of the things were for more conceptual subjects such a biology and the such as opposed to procedural ones like Linear Algebra and Calculus. And this was my major annoyance with these techniques as I'm in Engineering so many of my subjects are math heavy though with some conceptual courses but still I have lots of heavy procedures to follow. So I needed this video to learn how to actually approach math and turns out I have been approaching it somewhat like this unconsciously but now that I know this I will try to use it consciously and hopely excell as a result in those harder courses since the hard questions are concept heavy.

After watching this video, I understand that you need to think of math in a way that actually allows to use it in a contextual setting. This helps to know the relevance of that concept from different perspectives and allows you to easily use it along with other concepts in that situation. The only problem I have now is how I would take notes or map these concepts out. How many contexts would you need to map out the concepts, within the content of the curriculum
