In layman terms context api:

Imagine you have a large family, and you want to share some news with everyone in the family. Instead of individually going to each family member and telling them the news, you can use a "family announcement board" where you write the news once, and everyone can read it from there.

In React, the Context API acts like that family announcement board. It allows you to define a central place (context) where you can store data or state that needs to be accessed by multiple components.

I started react js 6 months back and try to built image gallery app using unsplash API. But when I segregate my app in different components like category and tag wise search. @StuartYoung`s large family, if youngest brother wants to eat pizza then it will request to its that elder brother will also request to his elder.... and so on . finally request will go to papa and papa will provide pizza for youngest brother. but again route will be same as request received. note that all member can see pizza and forward to its younger. but they cannot taste it🤣. finally chhotu recived instead of these process there is a board provided by papa is kept independently . there is a QR code is provide on that board. and written as, today pizza eating is allowed for any family member . anyone wants pizza just scan this QR code and place order by free.
