I really wish there would be more detailed information about what you mean by twisting the yarn? I am a beginner and I tried this method and got a hole in my project.

I have been knitting my mother’s pattern for Christmas stockings ever since my own children were born. Now I knit them for their spouses and my grandchildren. However I rewrote her flat-knitted, top-down and sew-after handwritten pattern (with a lot of words) as a toe-up pattern in the round with charts. What’s terrific about this is I can prep stockings to all but the name at the top, and on short notice can produce a stocking. I only make a few a year, and so tend to forget techniques like this one. Your video instruction is clear, short and had good visuals, so I included the link in my knitting pattern. Thank you!

I used this technique to align a pair of last stitch/first stitch purls in contrast to the stockinette background on other row above and below. On an otherwise knit/ stockinette round, I purled the last stitch, then on new round, I purled around to last stitched and slipped it. They matched well. this works whether the whole row is purled or just first/last stitches as in a stitch pattern of some design. Thanks so much for your instructional video.

Hey, Studio Knitters! After last week's video about knitting stripes, a lot of you wanted to understand how to knit jogless stripes in the round on circular needles. Hope it's helpful to you!

Thank you a bunch for this trick! I am knitting striped socks on 4 short needles and am really happy to have found your video because I've knitted socks with jogs for a lifetime not knowing how to fix that discrepancy.

I don't see how you "twisted" the stitch before the marker? Can you clarify? Thanks.

Great to have you explain so carefully. Thank you for making this video which helps even 'dummies' like me.

Love this Tks, BUT you say it works best with three or more rows. What if I want to change colors every two rows?

Your instructions are excellent and easy to understand. I am new to knitting and I just learned how to change colors making a hat and this helps me a lot.
Many thanks for making this video!
