Discussion of the karikas in this session can be categorised as -
1. Objections to - world is Mithya and justifications – K14,15
2. The order of arrival – beginning is Jiva or the world? - K16
3. rope-snake eg –to explain cause and solution to samsara – K17,18

Goudapadacharya with reasoning says , both the dream and waking world are mithya, which has been covered in previous sessions.

However, 4 objections are raised , to show that dream world is mithyā and waking world is satyaṃ.

Objections raised are based on the creteria of utility, externality, continuity, perception of reality in terms of clarity.

2 Objections based on continuity and perception of reality in terms of clarity is dealt with in this session for which Goudapada refutes and justifies that waking world is also mithya.

Goudapada further goes onto describe the waking world in terms of how jiva /indivisual being, the universe is created and the knowledge of the universe by the jiva results in cyclic process of creation.

Goudapadacharya discusses Solution to the Saṃsāra with the rope-snake analogy in the karikas that come up in this session.
