Mets and Cardinals went 25 innings with Cards winning at Shea on 9/11/74. I listened to the whole game on my transistor radio with an ear bud. School night. It ended at 312 a.m.

I remember watching Rick Camp's homerun on TV back in NY. That had to be one of the most unbelievable moments in baseball history!

I remember very well watching that game to its conclusion on television. After it ended, some Atlanta residents were not happy when the Braves shot off fireworks in the early morning hours of July 5, 1985.

I watched that game, fortunately I was in California and got to bed at 1:00 a. m.

I was actually at that game as a kid. I remember people near the stadium calling the police because they thought the fireworks (so early in the morning) were gunshots.

I was at this game!! And stayed til the end. Even crazier they had promised to have fireworks after the game (July 4th). So at 4 in the morning they had fireworks causing fear and mayhem in the neighborhood.
