Guide to Vasilisa and Valery (drama)

I spent a whole week putting together this video, so I'd really appreciate it if you could give it a like and drop a comment! I tried my best to gather every bit of information available on the internet, and I hope you found it insightful. Interestingly, after finishing the video, my perspective on Valery totally shifted. It seems to me that the contract and his complaint about Vasilisa "beating" him (I mean, really, "beating"? :D) were just excuses to get out of the situation. It's pretty clear he was so much in love with her he couldn't stand being around Vasilisa anymore, let alone playing her lover on the ice. What do you think?

Que esse rapaz tenha muita força e apoio das pessoas que o amam para se recuperar de tudo o que aconteceu com ele. Que ele não desista da sua carreira. Que venham dias melhores para ele. Percebe-se que os interesses comerciais e de terceiros falaram mais alto. Ao ponto de vc abandonar aquele que teve com vc na construção inicial de uma carreira vitoriosa! Morro em um país que vemos isso todos os dias com os artistas daqui. Até entre artistas que são familiares acontece esse tipo de coisa. Fica muito claro o que aconteceu com esse casal de patinadores. Agora concordo com com um comentário acima. A atual patinação da jovem com seu novo parceiro tem muita técnica, mas é muito mecânica mesmo, não tem vida, não fala ao coração a apresentação deles como falava quando ela estava com Valeriy. Que tristeza!

Such a sad ending to this beautiful skating couple. I rarely watch ice dance couples, but Vasilisa and Valery easily made me a fan of them. Such ana amazing chemistry, such beatufiful and original programs. I was shocked when I heard about the break up of their duo. One of the saddest moments in my 2 years as a fan of figure skating.

Actually, this was my first to view skate on ice with this beautiful couple dancing with prowess ..indeed, i was strucked and like them both Valery and Vasilisa, they are a perfect pair reel and real..i hope they would reconcile in the the near future as friend, if possible as lover forever..i hope so.

Thank you for making this incredibly descriptive video. I really like the fact that you decided to show other sides of the story and more insight to Valeriy's side aswell! It really is a bummer that these two splitted off but maybe it's for the best and I wish then the best of luck for there upcomming performances! :>
(Fyi, I do not blame anyone in this situation and I refuse to because there's more to the story than meets the eye, and I hope more people consider this too.)

Aww thanks for this explanationof their journey! Some of his interview dont have sub. That is so cool that he wanted to skate with her and ended up so. Def destiny. I wish in the future, they get to talk and become friend again. I knew of them after their broke up n been piecing thing together by video. They r young and I figured it was not their fault but 3rd party of the break up and how he left. So sad they were so sweet and genuine toward each others. They shown through their beautiful perf.

So sad, I have never followed ice skating before and only knew Yuna Kim (but didn't watch all her performance either😅) when I found about this couple I was so struck with their beauty and skill but then they suddenly broke up and left me so heartbroken, I really was looking forward to their future programs together. Can't imagine the sadness from their fans since beginning.

I hope they are happy now and hope that fate would bring them together again. If not on ice, hopefully in real life. Finger cross!
