Absolutely loved this show in the early seasons. A little too much drama in the later seasons unfortunately. Watching it now, I love how it took place in a time before cellphones and the internet and social media became so invasive in our lives. Simpler times, indeed.

Do not get me wrong Heather Locklear brought some spicy/spice though Kimberly Shaw & Sydney Andrews example had 1- one of the best storylines, was entertaining & interesting

Wow she looks great! The 1st season was awful for the most part when it tried to be 90210 for the social issues but 20 somethings & then when Heather came on near the end & it became a nighttime soap then it was great. I think season 2 was its best esp when Kimberly revealed the scar that shocked everyone. Like she was presumed dead returned a little off than pulled off her hair to reveal this hideous scar & her hair barely grown in. So u knew ish was going down w/ Kimberly that the accident & head injury meant crazy time that Micheal caused it & covered it up meant revenge & Kim was still a MD so she was also smart a very scary combo crazy & brilliant!

MP went ultimately "All About Amanda" from season 5, after Jo left and Jane, Jake, Alison and Kimberly followed in a row. Anyway, I never felt it was Heather's fault: bitchery is always an upgrade for any show (even one-season wonders like Models and CPW), and she played what she was payed for. What did upset the audience (me included) was seeing "good guys" like Jane and Jo becoming resentful and hopeless and bitter individuals.
