Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed Robert Hur as special counsel to oversee the investigation into President Biden's handling of classified documents. Former Chief of Staff at the CIA and the Pentagon Jeremy Bash joins Andrea Mitchell to dig into how this may impact the Biden presidency. “I don't think the Biden administration has anything to hide,” says Bash. “I wish they would have come forward earlier because I think it actually is a good example to set for the rest of the intelligence community professionals who have to handle this information about what you do when you find commingled documents.”

In his own words ... how can anyone be so irresponsible

Ya know why most Americans, or anyone from anywhere for that matter, stores anything in a garage? To make it easier to put them in the trunk of your car to transport wherever you wish whenever you wish to whomever you wish. Let us set aside for a moment the location in which they were found and let us begin to contemplate the more disturbing issue of what their next destination was and who they were to be transported to and for what reason they were to be transported to these individuals. This, above all else, is the most alarming and disconcerting aspect of this entire debacle. We the people need answers to these questions. Who was to benefit from the** information found on the pages of those documents? Were there financial transactions that can be associated with this scenario? Time to check everyone associated with the Biden Family's bank accounts for any recent large deposits from other countries and connect the dots. It's not rocket science it's common sense. Follow the money; Find the corruption; Get the answers!

Trump as president could declassify
Vice presidents can't.

There’s clearly no tracking mechanism. Top officials take any documents they want whenever they want.

Did Andrea ever questioned the briefings of Sarah Huckerbee Sanders or the other liars who were also giving White House briefings? That was a rather low blow at Ms Jean-Pierre unbecoming of MSNBC and Andrea should be made to apologise.

The double standards of the wider media on issues pertaining to Biden in contrast to that of a rank and blatant cad in Trump is staggering.

Mika Brzezinski: “many Republicans aren’t smart enough” to understand the difference between actions of Biden and Trump when handling classified documents.
Translation: "Our viewers are so propagandized they'll believe any nonsense we tell them."

I would say the big difference is that Trump actually had declassification powers and Biden didn’t at the time

He never should of had those documents to begin with.

Who decided it would be best not to tell the American people ? You would think they would already have their lies straight by now it’s been 2 months

One good thing about this scandal. It's cut down the thickness of kjp's big book of answers since she gives the same ridiculous answer for each question asked by the reporters in the briefing room.

Don't worry. Joe kept the classified material securely in his garage next to the only Vet he cares about
