Hey Jake, not sure if this will ever reach you but I would like to geniunely apologize. I ve been a part of this problem being a frequent watcher of MrBeast videos. I never realized how traumatic, sick and horrible it could have been for the people appearing in them. Especially as someone that was heavily bullied and went through a difficult childhood this feels awful.. that I have not realized the wrongs before you came out with the truth. Im sorry man, I really wish you recover quickly and I think its extremely brave of you to come out like this. Im sure you initiated a lot of good with your bravery considering that possibly others wont be hurt like this anymore by the MrBeast team.

Ahh! I appreciate your take! Personally, I was not enchanted with this special BUT I think I’m so used to John the coke clown and this “John with the eye bags you’ve only seen on your 69 year old drunk uncle” was just too jarring. But I haven’t gotten a chance to talk with anyone about so I’m glad I found this to hear a different perspective. Cheers

I really never noticed how the Mulaney cadence worked. I mean I laughed even when you did it 😂

I thought his cadence this time was more due to him himself getting caught in the jokes. He'd huff and laugh on his own. It felt really heartwarming since usually Mulaney is known to be unbreakable. I've seen him called "the comedian breaker" since he's good at making other comedians break character or just laugh. Seeing him more relaxed and entertained too was both a calming and entertaining factor in the special for me

Honestly, my family lived in Colombia during the drug wars, so I grew up with a real hatred of people who did coke, like sincerely.
So i was genuinely surprised that I enjoyed this and am so glad it was not to romanticizing
