Cultural Values, National Responses, and the Coronavirus - Part II
Показать описание
A Further Analysis of Cultural Influences on Public Health in a Global Crisis with Drs. Fons Trompenaars, Jerry Glover, and Kimberley Barker
This follow-up webinar will further analyze the worldwide crisis of the coronavirus and examine the impact of national cultural values on the approach to disease management. We think that understanding how national cultural values influence disease outcomes is important. Back by popular demand, we will be using Trompenaars 7D model of national culture differences to analyze national approaches during this global pandemic. Additionally, we will encourage the comparison of results and consequences for each national model. For example, how has authority been determined - by achievement or ascription? Whose freedoms are more important - the individuals or the communities? And, are leaders more synchronic or sequential in their approaches to time?
We will also compare the updated national results and discuss variations between the cultural value norms and the reactions of leadership, specifically related to change initiatives and culture. We will also examine results related not only to the numbers of deaths but how many cases became serious or critical and how many recovered from the coronavirus.
We hope you can join us for this follow-up discussion which is so timely and important in our world today! Note: The graphic in this invite represents the Cumulative Cases Worldwide of the Coronavirus.
