Paleolithic Age or Old Stone Age was when humans lived in caves or simple huts, they also used basic stone and bone tools and cooked their prey using controlled fire.

Neolithic Age or New Stone Age is when ancient humans switched from a hunter or gatherer mode to agriculture and food production.

The Bronze Age spanned from 3,300 to 1,200 BCE and is characterized by the use of copper and its alloy bronze “a copper and tin alloy”. Advances in architecture and art, including the invention of the potter’s wheel and textiles, organized government, law, and warfare, as well as beginnings of religion also happened in the bronze age.

People in the Iron Age discovered ways to heat and forge iron. Weapons made of Iron are stronger compared to weapons made of bronze. The water system also started in the Iron Age.
