If anyone else is wondering about the missing 'else', it was a typo, don't do it.

When the 'if' is true, PHP will just execute the code for both true and false, which is definitely not what you want. By sheer luck, you don't see anything bad happen in this example because once the header code is executed, the page is redirected so it never reaches the echo statement coming next.

I found a security flaw while making the project : if you change the value of the "id_to_delete" hidden input using the inspector, another pizza is going to be deleted, how could I avoid this flaw ? I'd like to use this system for a blog project of mine and I don't want users to be able to delete other people's comments.

Oddly, my $_POST array was empty, the form variables were getting passed as a $_GET request because I could see them in query string. I resorted to using $_REQUEST instead and that worked.

I am trying to add the delete button to a page where I already queried the table do I make the $sql code../ into something like $sqlid code../ and continue the query? I have been having a lot of trouble with this. Do I need to fetch the id again if i grabbed it with the other $sql?
