I like how in the end though (even if Terence has to explain it to him) Carl is the only one to get the true meaning behind the whole yes thing. It’s not about literally saying yes to everything, but to help you open up your life to new things and do stuff you wouldn’t normally do. You can still say no, but you say yes until you don’t feel that you have to, but that you want to. Unfortunately, everyone else just misinterprets Terence’s seminar as being about literally just saying yes to every single thing.
