Stratified Auto Explains What to Look for in a Dyno Graph

Here is a quick video that explains what to look for in a dyno plot. We see that a lot of people are concerned with chasing the highest peak power. Often when chasing peak horsepower figures people will overlook the sacrifices they're making and the end up being disappointed in their build.

For a fun daily driven vehicle you want the torque to ramp up quickly and stay as flat as possible for as long as possible. This will give you a linear power response which is rewarding to drive in all situations.

is Engine optimal speed range a factory setting and can not be changed, for example an engine with 3000 rpm to 4000 rpm optimal speed range or optimal speed range can be changed according to driving conditions and throttle input?

What if your car is still making peak near power at 5500rpm but the torque has fallen over dramatically by then?
Is the answer to shift gear?

I think you need as much tq as possible at any given rpm, not just a flat tq curve. Being pushed into the seat the same amount all thought the rpm range is sorta boring. but being pushed harder and harder as you hit redline is much more rewarding. resulting in an ever increasing tq curve. Thus a crazy hp curve, related to a large turbo. flat tq curves are so boring
