Pfg came into my school yesterday trying to recruit. They paying good for sure but like you said this food service game ain’t for all. You gotta work that’s the whole point you not just sitting in your truck all day backing into docks. This is 100% touch freight delivery to restaurants mom and pops etc unloading the food and delivering it and keeping it moving if you not physically active or like physically hands on work this may not be for you but on the other hand if you active and like to work out or you don’t mind push product around and moving stuff and continuously moving then you going to be straight and making good good money

Food service to me is a fun job period!!!

They start at 21.42 an hour in SC. And you get 200 a day while training. But you can get your own route in a year. And make 85k plus depending on route. First year drivers make around 70k. But it’s back breaking work. And they can’t keep drivers. But they do hire rookies. Also first year drivers are fill in which means they come in different times each day between 2-6a.m. Not worth it in my opinion but will get you through until you find something better.
