Mountain Zebra National Park, Best wildlife in the Karoo - Solo Africa Overland, Ep. 20

Crossing the Karoo is a beautiful experience, and I'm already on the Eastern boundary of this surprising region. It is time to visit the 4th and last of the big National Parks of the Karoo. Mountain Zebra is, by far, the best of those four parks for game drives. Large amounts of animals gather around the waterholes on the plains, and driving the roads that take you to the top of the mountains let you see the other Karoo, full of mountains and valleys. There aren't many predators in the park so I guess I was lucky when I spotted a majestic lion and I enjoyed his stunning beauty, only a couple of meters from my truck. A wonderful experience to end my Karoo journey.
