Millenium Dawn is pretty fun to play, especially as smaller undeveloped countries. I find it the most fun to play as a smaller nation in Asia or Africa and turn them into regional powerhouses. My main gripe with MD is that it crashes A LOT, like holy shit I can't play a year without having the game crashing on me constantly. There are also plenty of countries that lack interesting focus trees but for me that isn't too big of a deal. Hoping that the crashing problems can be resolved in the near future, but maybe HOI4 just isn't built to handle all of the new mechanics.

The one thing i wish they would add to production is this. Take mods like MD. The amount of equipment to scroll through to find what needed to fill out divisions is a lot. Can we have a simple icon on a piece of equipment that marks it as needed to full fill divisons. A simple red circle or something. Quick and simple to identify it from list. When choosing.

The millenium dawn mod is my favourite. I love the gameplay, the paths, the existence of NATO as a final boss etc. My favourite videos of hoi4 i ever watched were your videos as certain nono organisations in syria and afghanistan. Shame they don't exist anymore.

The New Order: really just a visual novel with wars being majorly side-lined, but slaps if you're into that kinda stuff
Millennium Dawn: slow as fuck and takes 20 hours to end 1 campaign. HOI4 isn't really built for the kind of stuff MD is going for and in my opinion they should just make their own game
Equestria at War: Huge lore without being a visual novel, it actually makes war feel fun and rewarding, I think overall amazing mod just with a really weird setting
Road to 56: The ultimate vanilla+ mod, it improves the focus trees a lot adding lots of new paths but overall kinda redundant if you own all the DLCs
Kaiserriech: Honestly I agree with you to an extent, I dislike the path the devs have gone for making it more like TNO with more lore elements. If you want to have to have some fuckery just play KX instead I prefer it. Overall my ranking of these mods would be 5. TNO, 4. MD, 3. RT56, 2. KR 1. EAW.

It would be funny if someone did a hoi4 mod where your fighting on Cybertron in Transformers universe were are another factions with real life ideologies and other autobot and decepticons faction.
