Anthony Simpkins, 'Other Fish,' // GemsOnVHS™

When the folks from Sennheiser came by to meet the GemsOnVHS crew and talk shop, I decided to show them a few old tunes. A couple of y'all always ask when I'll play some banjo on the channel, and the answer has always been "sometime!". How could I possibly both hold the camera and perform though? Well, now I finally had the opportunity, because someone else was holding the cameras! Better than I do anyway. I had a great time telling them about songs, both old and new. Towards the end I'm sure they'd heard more then enough, as it's well known I never shut up about it.

Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy this song. I wrote it a long time ago, most of it on those long hot days busking on downtown street corners. There's a lot of fish in the sea, they say, and I played with that saying a bit to get the chorus for this one. If you'd like to take this one home with you, you can find it on my Bandcamp page.
