Once in shape, get a suit, no matter how cheap.
Once you have a suit, get it tailored.
Fit is paramount, it if fits perfectly, it will look absolutely amazing and you'll be praised for it.

True but it's also important to note that you don't need to spend $10k to get a nice suit. You can get a very nice suit off the rack at a reputable store for $500, especially when they have suit sales. You can get a custom made suit for under $1k. Most people can't tell the difference between a $1k suit and a $10k suit anyways just by looking at it.

They are the best suits in the world but they do not make suits for the royal family. The royals have their own individual tailor who takes care of the entire family. This is directly from my contact at Huntsman & Sons (the tailor shop Tristan uses).
