This could be big. Very big. 2025's biggest new Gacha. Kuro Games, the studio behind Wuthering Waves and Punishing Gray Raven are working on a brand new Gacha game: Project Nami, and there are some rumors going around that it could take inspiration from Gravity Rush 2.

I'm glad that someone's clearing the rumours up. A lot of their recruitment listings I've seen were there over a year before WuWa's release and recently got renewed. Some misinformation about Kuro recruiting new positions for 'fixing' EN localisation shortly after the release is that all of those recruitment postings were there for a long time before WuWa even released but someone spread it around as if it was a recent thing, not even looking at the dates. I heard about dungeon crawler and turn based as potentials for NAMI but honestly, it's all up in the air and someone who speaks Chinese having a close look at the job listings could infer more from it by roles they're hiring for. Perhaps a modern take on a classic dungeon crawler even? It's all just speculation until we get actual legit info on this.

I hope Nami is an open world mech style game or a mech dungeon crawler or something like a gundam breaker or Armored Core 6 style game. They can sell Pilots and Mechs in gacha lmao.

Gravity Rush 2 is incredibly underrated, it contains the entirety of gravity rush 1 city in it. The story is interesting and more importantly the protagonist is super adorable !

Gravity Rush 2 was great. Unique and interesting mechanic ("flying" by controlling the direction of gravity to fall up), and I'm always a sucker for floating islands. I was always sad there wasn't anything more in that series.
