She never explained HOW she was the glue though. She only said “I made it come together.” She was forced in the main event though in storyline and outside of it. Her kick to Ronda in the parking lot brawl was the best part of the build tbh.

Charlotte Flair is the queen of getting single matches everybody wants to triple threats involving her that nobody wants. Summerslam 2018, Wrestlemania 35, Summerslam 21. Not to mention jus demanding a title shot and getting it without earning it

I'm fine with Charlotte being in the match. The only problem I have to this day is that Asuka got done dirty. WWE had Charlotte take the smackdown championship off of Asuka days prior and then just put her in the kickoff battle royal as if she and her title run didn't matter. What they should've done was add Asuka to the match and make it a 4 way since (storyline wise) she had a reason to be involved. Asuka beat Charlotte and Becky at TLC to win the title and retained it against Becky at Royal Rumble, but in the end Charlotte and Becky got the WrestleMania spotlight and Asuka got nothing for her efforts. I believe the main event would've been better with Asuka's inclusion.

Vince put Charlotte flair in that match because of her last name and that’s it. She lost a match to Becky for the right to face Rhonda at wrestlemania and then shortly after that match does not matter anymore in Charlotte is put in the match for no damn reason..

She made the match go on longer then it did, it was originally a lot shorter then what it was supposed to be, but Charlotte advocated them to keep going during the match and took tons of heat when they got backstage.
