Reading with the Grain - Better Book Clubs

Tips for reading "with the grain":
--try first to read as you think the author intended, even if you disagree with their ideas
--approach the parts that challenge or even offend you instead as "difficulties"
--on your second reading, read "against the grain"
--use these tips in conversation, too
