Produced by Julian Raymond (Glen Campbell and Cheap Trick), GOTTA HAVE THE RUMBLE contains songs, all written or co-written by Setzer, and was recorded in Minneapolis (Setzer’s adopted hometown) and Nashville. GOTTA HAVE THE RUMBLE is a red-hot album from start to finish--American music amped up to 10--with songs that are full of dynamism and bravado.

“Obviously, it’s a reference to my motorcycles and hot rods, something that hasn’t changed since I was 15 years old. I still have the same passion for going fast and adrenaline. But it’s also about my hearing problem with tinnitus--the ringing of the ear. It was pretty bad, and I realized that I couldn’t play the way I wanted to. As I recovered, standing in front of a small amplifier just didn’t cut it. The sound from my big amp makes the guitar rumble. Which is a big part of my sound. I was really despondent for a while because I thought I wouldn’t be able to do that again. So, ‘Gotta Have The Rumble’ refers to both of those things.” - Brian Setzer

LOVE IT!!! Saw the Stray Cats back in '82 at a little place in Connecticut and it is still one of the Top 5 shows of my life. I've seen Brian Setzer consistently throughout the years in every band or iteration including the Stray Cats 40th anniversary show and he is always PHENOMENAL. There's no other artist I've seen so much as much as Brian Setzer.

This is full circle for me, grew up as a rockabilly in early 80's listening to the stray cats in the UK. Then it led me to Bluegrass where I picked up the 5 string banjo and have been playing ever since then. Amazing at the influence music has on you.

So refreshing to see 7 year old lighting up a smoke. You just don't see that too often these days. Thank you for showing that smoking isn't just for adults!!

Man. This guy just keeps rocking. My favorite artist. Great job even without a Gretsch.

I love it!
That’s country music y’all! You are a true artist sir! Everything you produce comes from the soul and not from a executive committee of suits. Yo

Thank you for bringing outstanding music to the world.
Peace

I didn't know rockabilly banjo was a thing! Good for a country kind of song. Brian, you rarely disappoint, and aren't now! Love the magic trick cow at 1:57... and the kid smoking just because it's so not PC! Thanks for an education in a song.

Love this! Been listening to Brian pick and sing since '82 and he has never let up in his mission to grow, improve and surprise.
Everything he does is unmistakable; I know it's him from the first note, but he has surprised me at least a few times with every release. He is, quite simply, a world-class musician by any measure.
