Review: 2019 Lexus GS F - Even More Special Now Than Before

I review the 2019 Lexus GS F and see if it's just as awesome now as it was a few years ago when it first arrived. While some parts are dated, the sweet, naturally aspirated V8, pure RWD setup and lighter handling have aged very well and could position the GS F to become a future classic. ONLY 8 Flare yellow made for North America (and 5 in Japan). That sir, is the rarest GSF color ever produced. 2400-ish in North America, total production worldwide is 4800 or so.

Your one reviewed here (VIN2895) is the ONLY one that has a Rebuilt Title but fortunately it is back on the road. This particular GSF has a lot of history!

Great car. I have one in blue. The engine alone is so fantastic. It's just a treat to drive. I feel like this car will age will and be sought after as time marches on. I like to call it a gentleman's sports car. It's also has a nice sleeper vibe going on. Great buy if you can find one. Couldn't be more than 1, 400 of them out there...

Lexis is keeping the NA flame. 5.0 V8 with a 7300 redline! Get it while you can. We are going to miss engines like this someday. That car has really grown on me plus you know it is going to be well built and reliable.

The RTI I agree does look old. BUT I still prefer it over a touchscreen. It's just so easy to move my arm across from the transmission stalk compared to lifting my arm up onto a screen. Also, once you get use to it (it doesn't take long at all) you can pretty much use it without taking your eyes off the road for much at all due to the positioning of the giant screen. Touchscreens are good on a phone. Not so much in a car imho...especially those that do not give any haptic feedback. My only gripe with the system is the lag.

I leased a 2015 GS350 F-Sport for 3 years. It was a great driver, but at times I found it lacking power. The GS-F is the answer. Needless to say - I recognize that old infotainment system - LOL.

I have a 016 RC F .... one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Sweet sweet sweet V8... when I grow up the GS F is next up.

I predict that a RWD Lexus with a V8 will be nonexistent by the time 2030 rolls around. So yes, I'm inclined to agree about this one being a future modern classic!
