I just love it when GOV says “excuse me”

A teacher friend of mine literally teaches crime and the justice system. They take a field trip to the county jail!

I died inside when he said “12 dollars!” On one hand, it completes the joke and is pretty funny, but on the other hand, my mom used to be a teacher and we didn’t have a lot of money. I don’t remember my brother and I ever wanting for anything like food, clothing, attention, etc. but looking back, I know now that while it could’ve been much worse, it could’ve also been better

FL: “I’m about to use the governments logic against them.”

Kinda ironic when the government starts talking about the slippery slope

DC government talking about slippery slopes is pretty hypocritical.

This is why people consistently move to FL... Florida is awesome

Something I heard was that "if you COULD stop at ANY point, it's a [slippery slope] fallacy"

i know saving $12 does not sound like much but considering most states are hemorrhaging money that is a feat.

I kind of hate how Gov is portrayed as competent.

As someone who went through their senior year after junior year was cut short and we went online,
Social interaction was limited. No one hung out with anyone new. Classrooms were almost dead silent except for a few if people were great friends. People literally looked depressed even without the masks.

You were berated when your mask slipped or if you got thirsty. They would quarantine you and you’d miss two weeks of school if someone near you tested positive even if you were fine.

I had deep conversations in a few classrooms that I started. Some about how humans aren’t hugging as much as they used to. Not even their family members. We were stripped of what makes us human. Connection.

Not seeing someone’s face and facial expressions, not being able to smell them, touch or hug them, get close to them, it effects who we are fundamentally. My senior year was ruined from masks. No one wanted to be there. Everything felt extremely empty majority of the time.

Ok but FL also has some of the lowest infection rates out of anywhere in the country ironically

One day we need a compilation of GOV saying 'Excuse me'

As someone who went to school when the mask mandate was in full boar, it was absolutely miserable. It was a new school for me as well, so it was awful, and borderline impossible to make friends. You don’t know how much it changes until you live it.

The synched "Excuse me?" Is perfect.

As a Floridian, I don’t like that this is how people see my state. Sure we do dumb stuff sometimes, but we all do.
