Today we’re taking a look at the revamped release from @rc4wd - the Trail Finder 2 "LWB" RTR W/ Chevrolet K10 Scottsdale Hard Body Set. How amazing looking is this truck??! This is a refresh of the K10 Scottsdale that was released in 2023 - the scale engine bay in particular is a great addition! In this video, we unbox it, cover the main features, and trail run it for the first time.

Please keep doing videos. I want my wife to understand this is a hobby and it is fun. My wife has 3 cars now. She has 2 tamiya on road cars. She has the Mercedes and also a Volkswagen too. She also has a Team Associated Enduro Senduro crawler. I just want her to enjoy herself and have fun. I just want this to be a family thing. We also have 3 kids together. I did buy R/C cars for them too. Thoughts?

I did want to say I'm impressed with the detail and I can't believe it actually has a transfer case. I'm not into radio controlled cars, I fly aircraft and helicopters but I think the car and truck has come a long way

The Northwest is so awesome for RC, lots of flying fields for planes and great places for crawling as well. Beautiful area!

I just realized that the tailgate is wrong, that truck is technically a 73-74 from the grille and interior features, and the tailgate is from a 1981 and newer, the 73-80bhad larger centered lettering. I know, fascinating

Super cool detail and scale rig…love the realism! I really wish RC4WD would do a 70s Ford truck like this! I have a Traxxas hightrail and very nice for a lexan body (just like the brown one you have 😊) but nothing beats a hard body as far as detail tho..

Good luck on your future endeavors.
That truck is pretty darn cool. I like the looks. 2 easy fixes Lipo battery and a 35 turn motor vs the stock 45. Leaf spring suspension is perfect for that scale truck and the transfer case too. Now if someone made a mid 70’s Dodge body truck.

WoW! That Chevy body looks sooo good!!!! So shiny! Dang, and I really want a leaf spring chassis trail truck now. But RC4WD aren't the cheapest that's for sure.
Scale trucks always look a bit more realistic with softer springs, in my opinion. I managed it on my Carisma Range Rover by allowing the coil springs to be as long as they could, and changing to the thinnest oil I had. And what oil was that you ask? Olive oil! 😅 Yes seriously! It runs so smooth now!
But my RC4WD Land Rover 110 will have it's first drive out today. Luckily I acquired it from Sussex Model Centre at approx half price but including the matching trailer, where it had been a shelf queen for a few years.
Oh and this Landy had the same brand of figures inside it! Your girl driver is a Bruder figure if I'm not mistaken. Probably the best 1/16 scale figures if you want adjustable limbs etc! I wish they made 1/10 scale ones too.
