Alter Ego SHADOW KISS Palette...ND Glam Palette Dupe!

Today I'll be reviewing the new Alter Ego Shadow Kiss Palette, which is a Natasha Denona Glam Palette dupe! I'll be doing a side-by-side application and wear test to see if the Alter Ego eyeshadow lasts as long as the ND.

I am glad the Alter Ego ones aren't quite as pigmented as the ND. I am not the best at putting on my eyeshadows, and it is easier for me to build them up, than to blend out a more pigmented eyeshadow well enough. Thank you for doing this so fast!!! I ordered the Alter Ego kiss pretty much as soon as I knew it was a dupe for the ND's Glam. I've been waiting for a long time for them to dupe one of my favorite palettes from ND and I collect the alter ego palettes as THEY ARE THAT GOOD and I truly find that the Alter ego formula when they dupe, things are pretty comparable to the formula that they are duping! I LOVE ALTER EGO!

I would be SUPER excited if they duped the ND Palette with the duochromes. Purples and greens are my 💚💜. I already have enough neutrals. Still think this is a great release for them because so many people need neutrals for everyday looks.

I wasn’t going to buy this, but as an over 50 I prefer shimmers that are more subtle, not super glittery/metallic. Might be a nice addition, although I don’t REALLY need more eyeshadow…

Well snap! I guessed the wrong sides and I have the Glam. 😐. I’m so happy for those that wanted this palette but selfishly bummed since I have the Glam. ☺️. I have been waiting to try this brand but their palettes have all been too warm for me. I had never purchased from Natasha Denona till the Glam. She was the first to make this kind of palette and I bought it immediately.

This is really beautiful. I agree, depending on your lifestyle and preferences, there is a time and a place for more metallic or glittery eyeshadows. And personally I prefer shimmers that blend easily and have enough pigment to hold together rather than having to be packed onto a stickier base than a regular primer anyway.

I have the Glam palette and I love it so I'm over the moon that AE has duped it. Many people couldn't afford the $65 or just refused to pay that much for a palette, well now it's brilliant dupe is available for a pleasing $16.

What a great dupe!! I actually think the Alter Ego side looked better because the blend was more seamless. I think for neutrals, shadows that build up rather than have all the pigment out of the gate are the way to go for easy, soft looks. 😄

I think Alter Ego did an amazing job in replicating the colors to the ND Glam palette. I love the way you managed to get both eyes to look exactly the same while using the different palettes, just shows how good the Alter Ego palette is.
